Falkland Islands

Northern Sweden is a vast landscape of towering alpine peaks and endless vistas of pine forest, polar plains, meadows and glaciers. It is also the ancestral home of the Sami, the indigenous people of the region, whose unique traditions and culture still thrive today. Bears, elk, wolverines, golden eagles and arctic fox have their home here. As if these natural riches were not enough, this is the land of the midnight sun and the staggeringly beautiful northern lights.

Lapland

Swedish Lapland is Europe’s last remaining wilderness. Most international visitors arrive in Lapland through the town of Kiruna, a 1.5 hour flight from Stockholm. In Jukkasjärvi, near Kiruna is the world famous Icehotel, where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of events and activities throughout winter. The Lapland towns of Kiruna and Jokkmokk are centres for those interested in traditional Sami culture.
